Accessibility

We want anyone to be able to order from China Taste, and we have built this site with that in mind. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

• Every part of ordering works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Menu items, options and totals are announced properly by screen readers.
• Text and controls meet AA contrast against their backgrounds.
• Text resizes without breaking the layout, and the site works at 200% zoom.
• Nothing important is conveyed by colour alone — spicy items are labelled, not just marked red.
• Animations are reduced automatically if your device asks for that.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather tell you than claim to be perfect. The menu is long — 196 dishes — and going through all of it in order takes patience. You can search it by name or ingredient, filter out anything spicy, and jump to a section from the category links, and the number of matches is read out as you type. What is still true is that browsing the whole menu means a lot of tabbing, and the dish photographs we have are not yet described.
